Just in time for the holiday season, luxury fashion designer Lauren Bagliore will open her first concept store in Calgary for those dying to get their hands on her one-of-a-kind designs.
Until now, the New York/Calgary-based designer’s products were only available by appointment at her office in Inglewood. Bagliore has felt the demand from Calgarians, and a concept store will give the fashion-hungry better access to her collections.
The brick and mortar location, an 850-square-foot industrial-style space, was designed to give shoppers the feeling of shopping in West Side New York’s boutiques. Not only will clients be able to purchase items from Bagliore’s line, they will also get one-on-one consultations on the best pieces for their style and how to wear them.
The store will offer ready-to-wear pieces from her latest A/W 2014 collection, as well as a series of limited-edition artisan pieces. A jacket from this collection was featured in the September issue of Avenue magazine.
The New York native has made a name for herself around North America for her designs, and her name has exploded in the fashion world over the past several years. Bagliore’s signature edgy, modern designs bring new life to dark colours and bold cuts. Her high fashion pieces flawlessly transition from runway to everyday.
An invite-only gala will be held on Nov. 20 to celebrate the grand opening, which will officially happen for the public on Nov. 21, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
