Calgary author, entrepreneur, venture capitalist and Dragon on CBC’s Dragons’ Den Arlene Dickinson can now add eyewear mogul to her portfolio. Dickinson launched Sacori Eyewear last spring through nationwide chain FYidoctors, the world’s largest doctor-owned provider of ophthalmic products and services. Sacori frames are named after the roles we play in the world and the workforce, and if you want to channel your own inner Dickinson we suggest trying on The Doer or The Entrepreneur. All lenses used in Sacori eyewear are Canadian-made and the company says its stronger-hold screws mean the glasses are less likely to become loose on your face after prolonged wear.

Available at FYidoctors, 11 Calgary locations, fyidoctors.com
