The store offers a huge collection from over 80 local makers offering everything from artisan goods, clothing designers, jewellery artists, artists, furniture makers, woodworkers and much more. The cozy indoor market is the ideal place to buy Christmas gifts, birthday presents or just a quirky new addition for your home. The Hidden Gem first opened in Okotoks in collaboration with the Okotoks Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (OEE), which helps support small local businesses in Okotoks. While many local makers have struggled as a result of the pandemic, The Hidden Gem has created a space to showcase and support their work.
The Hidden Gem has also opened a new permanent location in Kensington for twice the support. Both locations feature local makers with handmade work, great gift ideas and a fun shopping experience.Â
