Veganism is not just about food; the philosophy of avoiding animal products also extends to apparel. The Grinning Goat boutique offers an ethical vegan shopping experience with clothing and attire that is PETA-approved. You won’t find any animal products or materials in this store. The shoes are made from materials like cork, organic cotton and even pineapple leather, a durable product created from pineapple leaves. The winter boots for men ($65 to $209) and women ($58 to $159) come in a wide range of designs. The shop also carries a range of other vegan-friendly brands like Ethletics if you’re looking for casual sneakers and the Portuguese brand NAE which stands for “No Animal Exploitation.” One per cent of every purchase goes to The Alice Sanctuary, a farm animal sanctuary in Balzac.
