Experience Exhilaration With A-List

With the Calgary Stampede happening this month, professional sports teams competing in home games and a chance to try out performance driving, A-Listers are sure to enjoy an eventful July.

Calgary offers year-round fun with its 333 days of sunshine and continuous festivals and events, but there’s something special about July. Stampede breakfasts begin to pop up, Calgarians don Western attire and emit a new kind of energy during the 10 days of Stampede, and all sorts of festivals, sports games and special events take over the city. A-Listers get to experience it all with an exclusive edge.

Avenue‘s A-List program brings unparalleled experiences to its members, taking beloved Calgary events and adding a VIP twist for A-Listers. Members get exclusive pricing on select experiences, access to private parties, invitations to secret dinners and VIP treatment every step of the way.

In July, members can look forward to exclusive Stampede fun, sports games and an exhilarating opportunity to take out a Mustang on the racetrack. Here’s a look at some of the events.

Hay’s Breakfast, a Stampede tradition where business leaders and community builders gathered over pancakes, was once an integral part of Calgary’s Stampede breakfast culture. This year, Heritage Park is bringing it back as the Legacy Stampede Breakfast at Heritage Park to carry on its Stampede spirit. Tickets aren’t available to the public, but A-Listers get the exclusive invite.

Calvary FC home games

Calvary FC plays two home games in July, meaning double the opportunity this month to watch the match from the best seats in the house, in the Carscallen Officers Club, with views right over the pitch. On July 18, Calgary FC will face off against Halifax Wanderers, and on July 31, they’ll play Inter Toronto FC. A-Listers can enjoy VIP parking, a hot buffet and non-alcoholic beverages, access to the field during warm-up and a chance to sit in on the post-match press conference.

Calgary Surge vs Vancouver Bandits

On July 21, A-List tickets to the Calgary Surge vs. Vancouver Bandits bring you the best of the best: courtside seats and in-seat service throughout the game. There’s no hassle either — A-Listers receive complimentary parking and exclusive early entry to watch the warm-up. The experience is complete with a signed photo of your favourite player.

Introductory half track experience

From July 22 to October 2, A-Listers can rent a Mustang and take it out on Rocky Mountain MotorSports’ circuit. The experience includes a quick in-class lesson on safety and racetrack techniques, followed by an instructor-led lapping session where you can put what you’ve learned to the test. The experience includes the Mustang rental, limited liability insurance, helmet rental and a light snack. A-Listers get a special discounted rate.
