An exclusive interactive workshop at Theatre Calgary
On May 7, Theatre Calgary is offering an interactive workshop, hosted by voice coach Jane MacFarlane and available only to Theatre Calgary donors and A-Listers. The class will explore how actors develop vocal authenticity, explore dialects and master nuances that bring characters vividly to life. This workshop will have a particular focus on the Newfoundland accent. A-Listers will also enjoy canapes and beverages, as well as the chance to ask questions in a Q&A and engage in playful participation.
Chocolate making for Mother’s Day
Get mom the perfect Mother’s Day present with the gift of handmade chocolates or the shared experience of making them together. Master Chocolatier is offering a private chocolate-making course on May 8, where A-Listers will learn the ins and outs of fine chocolate. Create a generous assortment of treats, including chocolate bars, lollipops, hot chocolate bombs and decadent salted caramel truffles, and bring home 1.5 pounds of chocolate (enough to give to mom and keep some for yourself!). Kindred Live: A Night of Connection
