Phase Three in Ambleton to bring in new amenities for residents.

The N.W. Community of Ambleton is coming to life with the launch of phase three earlier this year. This phase will bring on brand new amenities for the popular community.

Currently selling phase three of the community, Ambleton is situated in the popular Northwest quadrant of Calgary. It is comprised of 160 acres over eight phases and will have over 1200 homes once complete. The community’s popularity has meant Qualico Communities could bring on this phase earlier than initially expected.

New opportunities

In this new phase, Broadview Homes and Jayman Built will sell laned and duplex models, and Shane Homes, Sterling Homes and Trico Homes will sell front garage models. Townhomes are also available from Truman Homes, located directly across from the pond.

Ambleton is a distinctive and integrated community that provides a wide range of housing, activity, and recreational choices. Amenities include the much-anticipated pond, due to be completed this fall. This pond area includes pathways and a beautiful pergola, designed to create neighbourhood gathering spaces and will act as a hub for the community.

Community focused support

One of the most important amenities is the Ambleton Owners Association (AOA). The AOA is established to own, operate, and protect amenities. That means the community will have a higher standard of maintenance to ensure it sustains its value and desirability. The AOA will focus on creating community events but will also maintain landscaping, pathways, and some snow clearing that the City of Calgary will not maintain.

The community will also see Ambleton’s first park, which will also be home to an AOA-operated outdoor skating rink in the winter. And by next Spring, Ambleton’s first playground will be installed. For residents that enjoy riding their bikes, the residential streets within the community have been modified to move bike lanes from on-street to off-street regional paths, which makes the community safer.

Recreational fun

Residents that call Ambleton home also have access to the amenities of its neighbouring community of Evanston, which is thriving with a strong commercial presence, parks, and numerous walking paths. The commercial space already includes a grocery store, pub, yoga studio, pet store and much more, allowing Ambleton to feel established right from the beginning.

Once complete, Ambleton will have five parks and over seven kilometres of regional and multiuse trails. Residents can connect easily to the community and the future urban plaza directly across from the pond area.
