Rosé & Croquet: Where Fashion, Fun and Philanthropy Merge

The annual fundraiser returns as Calgary’s most stylish garden party.

What began as a charming neighbourhood welcome for the YW Calgary Hub has blossomed into one of the city’s most keenly anticipated summer traditions. Now in its sixth year, Deane House’s Rosé & Croquet Garden Party, presented by ATB Wealth, brings together philanthropy, fashion and culinary excellence in signature garden-party style.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the historic Inglewood property transforms once again into a lush, rosé-tinted escape as Calgary’s most stylish guests gather for an evening of indulgence in support of YW Calgary’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Programs.

A culinary and cocktail playground

From the moment guests arrive through a dramatic cascade of florals onto the Holt Renfrew Pink Carpet, the tone is set for an evening of chic style and celebration.

Throughout the gardens, a curated constellation of gourmet food and beverage experiences showcases Calgary’s top culinary talent. Highlights include a Champagne & Oyster Bar with fresh shellfish and sparkling pours; signature canapés from some of the city’s best restaurants including Deane House, River Café, Teatro, Rouge, Major Tom, Charbar, Meraki Cuisine and more; sweet bites from 8Cakes, Ollia Macarons and Village Ice Cream; and creative non-alcoholic cocktails, craft spirits and local beer from partners including Gnu Gin, El Tequileño and Born Brewing.

Guests can also enjoy a spirited round of croquet, strike a pose with Oh Snap Photobooth and dance the night away with DJ Joanna Magik.

“Rosé and Croquet has earned its reputation as the most fabulous garden party of the year,” says Sal Howell, proprietor of Deane House and River Café. “Beyond the glamour and the extraordinary culinary talent, the city comes together to champion an incredibly important cause.”

Fashion for philanthropy

The beloved Fashion & Hat Contest returns with an impressive panel of judges, including designer Paul Hardy, style columnist Karen Ashbee, TV personalities The Style Guys (Jason & Aly), and Francesco Ventriglia, artistic director of Alberta Ballet.

Guests can also bid on experience-driven packages in the online silent auction or try their luck in the Champagne Diamond Raffle, presented by Maxime’s and Champagne Bollinger, a perennial favourite.

A celebration with impact

Since its inception, Rosé & Croquet has raised more than $525,000 for YW Calgary. This year, organizers are aiming to build on that success, with proceeds supporting programs that advance economic opportunity for women across the community.

“Each year brings overwhelming generosity from local businesses and partners,” says Howell. “Attendees love it, and the money we raise makes a real difference for women and families across our city.”

YW Calgary provides programs and services that help women and their families thrive safely and equitably, with a focus on preventing domestic violence, building healthy relationships and supporting long-term economic stability.
