The annual Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival (RMWFF), presented by Sobeys Liquor and Safeway Liquor, returns to Calgary on October 18 and 19, showcasing the finest local cuisine alongside a wide array of wine, spirits and craft beer. Since launching in 1998, RMWFF is one of Alberta’s largest and most beloved food and adult beverage events. RMWFF entices guests to travel to and explore its host cities, while they feast their taste buds at an elevated festival experience.
RMWFF is an opportunity to sample many local, international, craft and premium products to find your new favourites that you can revisit again and again. There is no other place in Alberta where you can walk through the door and pick your journey with hundreds of samples of wine, beer and spirits available. Prepare to invite even your most selective friends, because with the variety of food and drink choices, there is truly something for everyone.
RMWFF also hosts a range of interactive experiences. Education opportunities include guided tastings, drink and food pairings, seminars and interactive sessions. You can connect with local chefs and brewers, and hear their stories first-hand. RMWFF aims to support local and elevate the amazing small businesses in our province, while also bringing you premium sips from all over the world.
2024 Highlights:
This year’s festival hosts a variety of local restaurants that are RMWFF first-timers, including the Ambrosial Cheesecake Shop, Big Fish & Open Range, Salt & Brick and Two House Brewing. Plus, RMWFF is highlighting a selection of non-alcoholic drink options, including an exciting partnership with our friends at Corona Sunbrew 0.0%.
