Calgary’s newest outdoor dog park offers a colourful space for pups and their owners to have some summer fun.

BLVD Bark is located beside the new BLVD Beltline apartment building, which teamed up with PARK to launch the outdoor space. While the park is a great spot for dogs to stretch their legs, it’s also a fun environment for their owners. There are dog-inspired sculptures that make for cool photo ops, bold murals to take in and colourful picnic benches to relax on. The project features the work of several artists, with contributions from Tierney Milne (who designed the installation), Paolo and Lyndon of Drip & Roll, Kiran Rai and Tyler Lemermeyer (who painted it), and CP Wood Gallery (who built it).

The next time you’re taking your dog for a walk, head over to the BLVD Bark to see the park for yourself and make the most of the summer weather.
