Fall is a great time for Calgary sports. Soccer and football are winding down with their final games of the season, while the hockey season is just getting started. Plus, this year, several special events and tournaments for tennis, ringette and soccer are popping up around this time.

To help you plan ahead, check out this list of sporting events happening this fall.

Cavalry FC

When: October 7 and 14

Cavalry FC, Calgary’s CPL soccer team, is playing its final regular season game on October 7 at Spruce Meadows’ Atco Field. The team came in first this season (which is the first time CPL has introduced a new playoff format), and will be competing in a playoff game on October 14 as well. A win in that match means Cavalry FC moves onto the finals.
