Experience a classic holiday tale at The Immersive Nutcracker: A Winter Miracle exhibition, now showing at the BMO Centre. From December 1 to 28, step inside this three-dimensional, digitally projected exhibition to bask in the beloved Christmas Eve story from the 1892 ballet The Nutcracker.
Set to composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet score, the immersive experience mixes digital animation with footage of real ballet dancers to tell the story of the Nutcracker as he battles the evil Mouse King. The combination of festive visuals and the classic soundtrack is sure to make a ballet fan out of anyone.
Outside of the exhibition, patrons will find four photobooths based on scenes from the show. There may even be a life-sized nutcracker walking around for more photo opportunities.
Tickets for The Immersive Nutcracker start at $30 each, or $27 each for a family pack (two adults and two children). The show runs for around an hour. The Immersive Nutcracker is created and produced by Lighthouse Immersive and Storywall Entertainment.
