Try 48 Festive Drinks on Banff and Lake Louise’s Hot Chocolate Trail

This hot chocolate celebration features more than 30 participating restaurants and cafés, each offering their own festive take on the beverage.

On your next trip to the mountains, warm up with a hot chocolate during Banff and Lake Louise’s Hot Chocolate Trail, a festival celebrating everyone’s favourite winter beverage. From November 14 to December 31, 2024, visit some of the 30+ participating businesses to try creative hot chocolates.

During this seasonal festival, there are 48 chocolatey creations at Banff and Lake Louise restaurants and cafés. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic hot chocolate options. Visit spots like Wild Flour for the black cherry ganache hot chocolate, head to The Balkan for the salted chocolate orange mocha or try the Passion Peak Cocoa at The Prow.
