At the Golden Skybridge, Pursuit’s iconic mountain adventure experience in Golden, B.C., a new way to get your adrenaline pumping opens this spring.
On May 12, the Railrider Mountain Coaster will be open for business. As the fastest and longest of its kind in Canada, this brand-new thrill ride brings riders over 350 metres up the Columbia Valley and sends them barreling 650 metres down the mountain.
The Railrider Mountain Coaster will take riders through tunnels, loops and turns through the gorgeous Rocky Mountain forests — part of the experience is the coaster’s integration with nature. The coaster can reach speeds of up to 40 kilometres/hour, and eventually cantilevers riders over the valley below, relying on the power of nothing but gravity.
Entrance to the Railrider Mountain Coaster is included with the Adventure Pass ($79, or $71 if you purchase tickets online) at Golden Skybridge, which also includes access to the zipline, rock climbing wall, axe throwing, adventure challenge course and iconic suspension bridges.
Stop by on your next trip through the Rockies, or make it a day trip — the adventure is definitely worth the trek.
