Arcade games were popular attractions throughout the 1970s and ‘80s, and their appeal is still going strong today. Take it from these new (or newly revamped) Calgary establishments that combine food, drinks and arcade games to create a fun-filled destination. Whether you want to play pinball, racing games or other retro activities, these are the newest and coolest spots to do it.

Burn Block Social Club

Revival Brewcade may not be around anymore, but you can still get your arcade game fix in Inglewood at the newly opened Burn Block Social Club. The establishment has a retro vibe and all the pinball games you could ask for. There’s also a collection of classic arcade games like Pac-Man.

Hidden Spot

At the freshly rebranded Hidden Spot, expect a 50-foot projection wall featuring three 200-inch TVs, a variety of pinball machines, arcade games and billiards tables. With food and drinks available all evening long, as well as live sports on the big screen, Hidden Spot is an ideal place for fun times with friends, family or a date.

National on 10th

National on 10th’s newly renovated space, which was completed in January, now features a new wall of arcade games and a karaoke lounge on the second floor. While these games are fun to play anytime, Mondays may be the best day to visit as arcade games are free to play then.
