Here are five reasons you should check out the Made in Alberta Awards Conference and Awards Celebration

You can learn how to grow your product and business

Every business owner and artisan needs some guidance from time to time. The Made in Alberta Conference will feature panels, discussions and presentations all day from Alberta professionals on topics such as opening retail stores, venture capital funding, wholesale, co-working spaces, media utilization, art markets and more.

There will be industry roundtables

Grab a delicious lunch and mingle with other attendees from your industry in the industry roundtable rooms. Whether you work with food and beverages, apparel, home decor or as an artisan, you’ll have the opportunity to network, share tips and tricks, and form positive relationships with like-minded entrepreneurs.

There will be a chance to win awesome door prizes

Feeling lucky? Attendees will have the chance to enter their names for door prizes, which will include local goodies from Art Market, Jack 59 Inc., Glass House Xperience, Lazy Bake, CleanO2, Iron Hide Woodworks, Wildlife Outdoor Adventure, StumpCraft Puzzles and more.

Get professional photos of your product

Local photographer José Soriano will be operating a “photo booth” to snap professional shots of your product. He will manage product set up and tear down, editing and retouching, and will send the final photos. All you have to do is bring your product.

Celebrate the winners of the 2022 Made in Alberta Awards at a cocktail reception

At 5 p.m., attendees can make their way to the mezzanine of the library’s Performance Hall for cocktails and conversation in advance of the Made in Alberta Awards Ceremony. Avenue is thrilled to honour the winners with their trophies in-person, including the overall grand prize winner who will receive a $5,000 cash award.
