Art and science become one at Telus Spark’s newest exhibition, Wonderspaces. It launches in Calgary on March 6, and this is the first time Wonderspaces — which is based in Los Angeles — is displaying one of its art shows at a science centre.

The exhibition features nine works that use both art and science to create immersive, thought-provoking experiences for guests. There are a wide range of pieces on display, including Blooms by John Edmark, which features three sculptures that use high speed rotation and strobe lighting to create optical illusions, and Plume by Ian Brill, which offers an audio-visual experience inside a half-dome sculpture.

Tickets are included with general admission to Telus Spark and with memberships. Wonderspaces will be on display at Telus Spark until the end of October, 2023.
