There’s a lot to love about the Mango Mania drink ($8) from Mango Mania in Crescent Heights – the mango slush, mango juice balls, fresh mango chunks, mango-flavoured coconut jelly.

But the best part of the Mango Mania drink is that comes topped with mango-flavoured mochi, which is essentially a chewy piece of rice cake that originated in Japan and is commonly served in Asian soups and desserts. The staff at Mango Mania put a lot of care into making sure their mochi is fresh, unique and delicious. They use glutinous rice flour to make their own fresh mochi dough every day, and cook small batches throughout the day to make sure it’s as fresh as possible.

While the Mango Mania drink is the only one that automatically comes topped with mochi, guests can add it to any of the eatery’s drinks for only $2 (owner Serina Mah suggests adding mochi to the Coconut Mango or Fresh Mango “Milk Tea” drinks). It can also be added to the mango panna cotta and mango pudding desserts.
