Looking for more interesting fare this Halloween than the usual mini chocolate bars? If you’re hosting a Halloween gathering, these five Calgary confectioners have the treats covered – now the tricks are up to you.

 

Macarons from Ollia Macarons & Tea

Ollia Macarons & Tea has created three varieties of delicate French macaron for its Halloween collection. The Yummy Mummy is its classic raspberry macaron dressed up in a mummy costume, Worms ‘n Dirt has wiggly gummy worms hiding in cookies n’ cream, and Frankenstein’s chocolate mousse will melt in your mouth. All the flavours are gluten-free, and are available until Halloween.

Doughnuts from Jelly Modern Doughnuts

With a themed variety tray including vanilla glaze, vanilla buttercream, chocolate buttercream and vanilla/chocolate-dipped doughnuts, Jelly Modern Doughnuts has something for everyone.
