Imagine if you could get your daily workout in by soaring through the air with the help of a bungee cord. Well, now you can at the new Bungee Workout Canada, the first exercise facility of its kind in Calgary.

The Bungee Workout experience was first offered in Bangkok, Thailand, and this is its first expansion into Canada. During the 60-minute workout, you're strapped into a harness that is tethered to a beam attached to the ceiling of the 3,000-square-foot facility. Then, depending on your workout, you might jump forward into the air, do flying push-ups, jump off walls and more. It's a low-impact, high cardio workout that concentrates on building up core strength.

Right now, Calgary's Bungee Workout only offers "fitness" classes, but the studio will eventually be adding a "workout" class that is a mix of acrobatics, fitness and dance and a "bungee wall" resistance class.

Multi-class packages are available, or you can drop-in for a $35 fee.
