Avenue’s Top 40 Under 40 Gala Returns on October 26

Celebrate Calgary’s movers and shakers at this exciting in-person event at Eau Claire Tower on October 26, 2022.

Avenue is thrilled to host the 2022 Top 40 Under 40 Gala, presented by connectFirst Credit Union and the University of Calgary.

The first in-person Top 40 celebration since 2019 will take place on October 26, 2022 at Eau Claire Tower in the heart of downtown Calgary. Come hear the stories of these inspirational Calgarians, who include entrepreneurs, artists, advocates, researchers and more, and raise a glass to their contributions. Enjoy food and drink while mingling with hundreds of guests who care about Calgary and want to celebrate the people moving the city forward.

Tickets to the VIP pre-party include an intimate gathering of this years’ Top 40 class, as well as their friends, family and community. Starting at 5:30 p.m., this cocktail hour is a chance to toast to the achievements of the class of 2022 before the official event kicks off.

Doors to the awards gala open at 6:30 p.m. and the main presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. Polaris Prize longlister Sargeant X Comrade will kick things off with a performance, followed by the awards presentation by Global News anchor Dallas Flexhaug. The cocktail reception will go until 10:30 p.m., so be sure to stick around to mix, mingle and celebrate.
