Birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts will feel right at home in Hotchkiss, thanks to its 30 acres of natural wetlands. Take a stroll down the community boardwalk, designed to function as a bird blind — a camouflaged shelter that conceals visitors from wildlife. The blind allows you to view Calgary’s wetland creatures undisturbed in their natural habitat.

Seton’s YMCA
The new but well-established community of Seton is home to the world’s largest YMCA. Along with familiar recreation centre facilities such as a gym and hockey rink, the Seton YMCA also boasts a competition-size 50-metre lap pool, a dive tower, waterslides and a lazy river. It also has non-fitness facilities, including an art studio and performance theatre.
Indigenous art in Taza
Taza Park is one of three community villages in the Taza development project on Tsuut’ina Nation land. Throughout the community, you’ll find art created by Tsuut’ina artists, such as the work of mural artist Starlight in the Taza Park Metro Ford and the neighbouring Buffalo Run Servus Credit Union.
