Burgers that give back? Count us in.
From February 1 to 29, you can help support Canadian food banks by ordering one of the featured burgers from restaurants participating in the Burger It Forward campaign. Canada Beef, who is running the campaign, will be donating the equivalent of one meal (up to 20,000 meals) to Food Banks Canada for each featured burger that is purchased in February.
More than 200 Canadian restaurants are taking part in Burger It Forward, including 22 Calgary restaurants that will be offering featured burgers like the Beef Pav Sliders (at Calcutta Cricket Club), the Little Mac Burger (at Pigeonhole) and the Kabab Burger (at Iyycburg). Diners can see a full list of participating Calgary restaurants and the featured burgers online.
