The strength of Calgary’s hospitality sector was on full display at Avenue‘s 2024 Best Restaurants Celebration, which honoured the winners of Avenue‘s 2024 Best Overall Restaurants, Best New Restaurants and Best Accessible Restaurants.
Hosted at SAIT Hospitality House, the interactive reception featured tasty bites like tartare, flatbreads, tacos and ice cream sandwiches crafted by SAIT‘s culinary talent, as well as stations with sponsors Pacific Wine & Spirits, Calgary Chamber and Tourism Calgary. Guests were also invited to tour the SAIT Hospitality House kitchens to learn more about where the culinary magic happens.
At the formal awards presentation, Avenue‘s editor-in-chief Shelley Arnusch welcomed representatives from the 2024 Best Restaurants lists to the front for a toast with a glass of Taittinger Champagne courtesy of Pacific Wine & Spirits. The evening was a celebration of the many restaurateurs, chefs and culinary teams that make Calgary’s dining scene great.
