One of Calgary’s most renowned restaurant groups is celebrating a major milestone this year.

Teatro Group, whose restaurant roster includes Teatro, Vendome, Cucina, Alforno, Eighth Avenue Trattoria and Holy Cow, is officially commemorating its 30th anniversary with a year-long series of special events that highlight its restaurants, alumni and of course, its delicious food and drinks.

To kick things off, patrons can currently check out Teatro in Residence at Vendome, which showcases some of Teatro’s signature dishes and wines in Vendome’s warm and cozy setting. Guests can choose from a selection of Vendome dishes like AAA beef tartare, broccoli halloumi Caesar and steamed Saltspring mussels, opt for Teatro dishes like the fried calamari, the Teatro risotto and the bucatini carbonara, or try a few dishes from each restaurant. You can also enjoy a selection of wines from Teatro’s wine cellar by the glass or bottle.

There will be other celebrations throughout the year as well, including Clos de Oyster in Residence at Cucina in the spring, Holy Cow in Residence at both Alforno locations in the summer, a Teatro Group alumni dinner at Teatro in the fall and a Teatro Wine Dinner in the winter.

And if you do attend one of the anniversary events, be sure to ask about the TG 30 Gold Card Program — it features 500 gold cards for patrons interested in unlocking special Teatro Group events and discounts during the year.
