It was an exciting week celebrating local makers and businesses at the fall edition of the Made in Alberta Market.

Hosted by Oxford Properties, the market featured 17 Alberta-based vendors set up across two-levels of downtown Calgary’s Bow Valley Square from November 23 to 24, 2022. Shoppers perused a wide range of innovative and exciting local products by this year’s Made in Alberta Awards winners and runners-up, including soap bars made with carbon-capture technology by 2022 Beauty category winner CleanO2, baking mixes and flour by 2022 Sweet Food category winner GroundUp eco-ventures, outdoor adventure kits from 2022 Unique category winner Wild Life Outdoor Adventures and more.

Several past Made in Alberta Awards winners and runners-up were also in attendance as vendors, such as 2020 and 2021 beauty runner-up Ellie Bianca, 2020 alcoholic drink winner The Fort Distillery and 2021 games and leisure runner-up Mobile Escape.

The Made in Alberta Awards are generously sponsored by MNP, ConnectFirst Credit Union, Shedpoint, Calgary Economic Development’s Trade Accelerator Program, Oxford Properties and Global Calgary.
