October was a busy month for Calgary’s interior design and home decor scene with the arrival of six new home decor stores around the city. Each one brings its own approach and style to home wares, furniture and design. Here’s a look at what you can expect from each new store.

Located in Inglewood, The Curated Home has created an elevated and timeless space where shoppers can immerse themselves in interior design. Get inspired by the store’s vignettes while shopping for furniture, lighting, bedding, table settings, decor items and more. The next time you’re shopping in Willow Park Village, pop into Stone House Decor’s new storefront. Drawing inspiration from Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas, this home decor shop features everything from tableware and linens to baskets and furniture in a modern farmhouse style.

A new addition to The Shops at Avenue Thirty Four in Marda Loop, Sunday State brings beauty products, fashion and home goods together in one beautiful space. Whether you’re looking for soft towels, eye-catching glassware, stylish pyjamas or perfume, this lifestyle store has it.

Unshelf Design & Boutique

Run by interior decorator and home stager Sarah Kirkpatrick, this new consignment decor store offers a sustainable way to give your old furniture and decor a second life or to find unique and beautiful second-hand items for your own space. Anything that isn’t sold is donated to local charities. The store also features a design lab that will eventually host design workshops.

Vienna at Marda Loop

This new spot among The Shops at Avenue Thirty Four in Marda Loop is run by the co-owners of House of Avorio (a jewellery company) and Siena Style (a homeware and decor company), respectively. So naturally, Vienna has a double focus around jewellery and home goods. Along with products from House of Avorio and Siena Style, the store also carries items like Suntree Soaps, Turkish towels from Mint & Grey and more.
