Inside Avenue’s 2019 Best Dressed Party

It was a toast to Calgary’s sartorial sophistication, fabulousness and flair.

Avenue Calgary's Best Dressed 2019 from left to right: Eboshi and Contra of Cartel Madras, JP Channa, David Down, Sean Clancy, Maya Gohill, Maha Malik, Sue Anne Valentine, Michele and Cayce Verlaan. Not present: Domingo Lumanog and Aisling Tomei.

On Thursday, March 28, hundreds of Avenue‘s supporters put on their party clothes to celebrate our 5th annual Best Dressed list at Glenbow. The crowd was an incredible group of the 2019 honourees as well as individuals from previous Best Dressed lists, judges and friends of Avenue.

It was a chance to revel in the diversity of personal style in Calgary, eat a few canapes and sip on Champagne.

Fittingly, the party took place at Glenbow next to the Christian Dior exhibit that showcases the designer’s early work, which revolutionized fashion.
