For the past three decades, Wild Rose Brewery has been putting award-winning craft beers into the hands of Albertans. On September 19, 2026, the brewery will be celebrating its anniversary milestone in style — with the community that made it possible.

The party will take place in Wild Rose’s cozy and inviting taproom, located in the southwest neighbourhood of Currie Barracks. With charming farmhouse influences, long tables and both indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, it’s the perfect spot to celebrate in good company.
“Wild Rose is about the community and brewing great beer,” says Emily Parsons, the marketing and social media coordinator. “Our taproom is the heart of that.”
From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., the taproom will be abuzz with live music, food, games and giveaways. Gracing the taproom stages will be local folk and country artists The Dust Collectors, Wheels, Carter Felker and Taurus Ranch Band, along with DJ sets in the designated event space in the back.
The event will be entirely family-friendly, complete with yard games like cornhole and giant Jenga for customers big and small. You could even walk away with some limited-edition Wild Rose Brewery swag, available through both the giveaways and hat purchases while supplies last.
Beyond the event day, Wild Rose Brewery will also be launching an exclusive 30th anniversary beer during the first week of September, with more information to be released on social media.
“It’s a fan favourite,” says Parsons. “We did a poll last year and it was voted as the number one beer that people want to see come back.”
30 years of pints and community
Three decades ago, Wild Rose began with the mission to serve Albertans good beer. Wild Rose’s Quality Control and Innovation Lab goes the extra mile to make sure that every beer delivers on its promise of freshness and creativity. Since the very beginning, Wild Rose has brewed right here in the province.
“We are authentically Albertan,” says Parsons. “We’ve been that way for 30 years, and we don’t plan on changing that.”
Located next to an active army base, Wild Rose’s taproom is a former airplane hangar building, which was in use back when Currie Barracks was a military base. Nods to its history show up in memorabilia around the taproom and through its support of veterans. For the 30th anniversary event, entry to the taproom will be by cash or food donation to the Veterans Association’s food bank.
“This celebration is dedicated to the hardworking Albertans who have stood beside us, supported local craft brewing and made Wild Rose a beloved part of life across the province,” says Wild Rose’s brand manager Candace Potter. “We couldn’t have done it without you.”
