After a few weeks of online searching and hours of scrolling, you might be feeling overwhelmed, but don’t panic — Bridal Expo has got you. From the fashion shows to the wedding gown sale to the room filled with Calgary’s best wedding vendors, Bridal Expo will be a fun-filled part of your wedding planning experience.
Bridal Expo plays matchmaker
On November 8, newly engaged will browse over 100 vendor exhibits and have the chance to meet with experts in the industry at the Bridal Expo.
“There is definitely a vibe in the room,” says show producer Lenora Kingcott. “It’s like a gigantic speed-dating event where couples get introduced to the wedding experts they’ve been checking out online. Couples want to meet their favourite vendors face-to-face, and Bridal Expo is the place that brings them together. We love playing matchmaker!”
What’s new at Bridal Expo 2026?
Along with the widely loved fashion shows and gown sale, attendees can expect to discover the latest bridal trends with new interactive activities.
“We’re thrilled with all of the new exhibits and giveaways!” says Kingcott. “There will be gourmet tastings, fashion portraits, curated fragrances, hand-engraved gifts, permanent bracelets… this list goes on and on.”
Between all of the fun activities, brides, grooms and partners can enter to win prizes valued at over $10,000, sponsored by Ethos Bridal, Fari Hara Custom Tailoring, Park & Fifth, Sterling Homes and The Diamonds Factory.

Don’t miss Calgary’s most glamorous bridal runway
Bridal Expo’s award-winning fashion show is Alberta’s most glamorous bridal runway. Show coordinator Kim Noseworthy of The School of Walk certainly knows how to wow the crowds. “I love directing this fashion show! It’s much like a New York City event with everyone seated right along the runway,” she explains. “Here, Calgary brides get to see the latest designer gowns up close. It’s an exciting experience!”
This year’s line-up is the best yet, with gowns from Ethos, Durand Bridal, Park and Fifth, Lily by Lyla, Cameo & Cufflinks and Mountainview Bridal, and menswear from Fari Hara and Moores. Tiered seating ensures that every guest has a great view of the runway, but VIP ticket holders get front-row seats, champagne and a gift bag from luxury fragrance curator Jo Malone London.

Alberta’s biggest wedding gown sale is at Bridal Expo
Bridal Expo’s famous gown sale is an annual event sponsored by local boutiques that brides know and trust: Ethos Bridal and Cameo and Cufflinks. They offer hundreds of designer gowns in every size and silhouette, all marked down by 40 to 80 per cent.
“This year, we’re also including a great selection of Mother-of-the-Bride/Groom dresses from Lily by Lyla,” says Kingcott. “Moms and grandmothers have been asking for dresses for them to be included in the sale for some time now, so we’re thrilled to offer such a beautiful collection.”
