Ever wonder what goes into sourcing fresh coffee for a roastery and café? Or what it takes to become one of the world’s best baristas? You can learn about all this and more by listening to Buy the Drip, a Calgary podcast started by hosts, brothers and founders of Rosso Coffee Roasters, David Crosby and Cole Torode.

Buy the Drip offers a deep dive into coffee culture through interviews with coffee leaders around the world. The episodes delve into topics like the latest coffee industry news, sourcing ethical green coffee, the science of coffee roasting and more. The podcast also explores the ins-and-outs of entrepreneurship with local business owners and chats with international brewing and barista competition winners.

“The best part of starting Buy the Drip has been the incredible people we’ve met through coffee and hearing their unique stories,” says Crosby. “We’ve [interviewed] World Barista Champions, coffee producers, and industry leaders… We felt it was important to share these stories and provide more context to the morning cup of coffee that many of us take for granted.”

Listen to Buy the Drip on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or on the new YouTube channel, which will be launching video versions of the podcast soon.
