If there was ever a time to go out for some pasta, it’s in October during Pasta La Feasta.

Running from October 1 to 31 (which also happens to be National Pasta Month), this food festival features special pasta creations from 10 Calgary restaurants, as well as one in Banff. When you order one of the featured dishes in October, $3 will go towards supporting The Alex Community Food Centre.

This year’s pasta offerings celebrate Canadian flavours and stories with the theme “Proudly Canada.” The featured dishes range from a pasta inspired by the hit TV show Heated Rivalry at Little Noodle Shop to River Café’s Jiggs Dinner Agnolotti, which draws on the Sunday Jiggs Dinners often served in Atlantic Canada. The full list of participating restaurants and their featured pasta dishes is available online.
