Calgarians love their brunch and now have a new diner to go to with the addition of a second location of Red’s in Ramsay.

The seating area at Red’s in Ramsay is 1,200 square-feet with room for 74 people making it slightly larger than the 900 square feet at the 4th Street location. There is also a patio for use during the warmer months.

“I think we just love this neighbourhood. It’s like a little village, it’s bohemian, it’s eclectic, it’s got all classes of people,” said Andrea Roe, director of front of house operations. “A diner is a community hub that’s open to all walks of life.”

The new Ramsay location will have the same menu as the 4th Street location that opened in March 2010. The executive chefs are Jeremy Ettinger and Ryan Oldeheuvel.

“We started that diner and we decided a year after that we wanted to have a second location,” remarked Roe. “There’s not much different with the formula, the formula’s the same and the philosophy’s the same it’s just the location that’s different.”
