Calgary’s food scene is constantly changing, and it seems like there’s always a new menu item, limited release or special treat to try. Here are five dishes and drinks we’re excited to try this month.
Our Master Distiller explains our first single malt whisky as fruity, with notes of apple, oak and caramel from the malt. What do you think of the first few sips? Come enjoy a dram! We are now offering tastings of our limited release Single Malt Whisky to the public in our tasting room in Turner Valley! Starting at only $14! #shareeauclaire #AlbertaSingleMalt #whisky #distillery #yyc #yycwhisky #canadianwhisky #drinklocal #farmtoglass
Eau Claire Distillery’s first single malt whisky is finally ready after three years of aging. Unsurprisingly, the first batch sold out quickly, so you’ll have to make your way to the distillery’s tasting room to sample it. Tastings are available in one and two ounce drams.

Mark our words, the tacos at the newly opened Gringo Street are going to become fast favourites. While flavours range from smoked mushroom to chicken wing to roast pork shoulder, we’re particularly excited to try the sweet ‘n’ sour fried shrimp tacos.
