4th Spot Kitchen & Bar

Located in Mount Pleasant, 4th Spot Kitchen & Bar has delicious pizza, great daily specials and a tasty kid’s menu. For $8.99, kids choose from pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, macaroni and cheese and more. Every dish also comes with a choice of beverage and a scoop of ice cream.

Clive Burger

This 17th Avenue S.W. burger joint recently introduced its Clive Burger Kids Meal, which includes a slider, small fries and juice box all for $7. If kiddos are still hungry, order one of the custard shakes. Clive Burger’s casual atmosphere and location on 17th make it great people watching to help keep kids entertained while parents eat.

Diner Deluxe

Diner Deluxe has a kid’s menus for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, kids 12-and-under can order dishes including pancakes and fruit, eggs in a nest and a breakfast sandwich with Canadian bacon. If waiting in line to dine is especially unappealing, you can make reservations at Diner Deluxe’s Aspen Landing location.

Dove’s Nest

The Dove’s Nest’s daily high tea offering includes a scone, an assortment of sandwiches and sweet treats and tea. It’s a lot of food for little stomachs, so Dove’s Nest has a special Children’s Tea Tray for kids 12-and-under. It includes a choice of sandwich, scone, a chocolate brownie or Victorian Elegance tart and a drink.

Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

Famoso serves hand-tossed pizza in a couple of sizes, including the 7-inch “pizzetta” and full size 11-inch pie. Pizzettas are on the kid’s and adult menu. Also on the kid’s menu is linguini pomodoro, spaghetti bolognese and more. Kid’s meals come with a drink and a scoop of gelato.

The kid’s menu at Milestone’s has the usual suspects such as chicken fingers and grilled cheese, but it also offers slightly more elevated fare. The 12-and-under set can order dishes like grilled salmon with a side or jasmine rice or two mini burgers with perfectly crispy fries.

Nick’s Steakhouse & Pizza

This family-friendly joint across from McMahon Stadium has been serving Greek-inspired pizza and steak since 1979. Along with old standbys, like fish and chips and chicken fingers, the kid’s menu has steak sliders.

Phil’s has been serving family-friendly meals since 1956. It offers free dollar-sized pancakes to kids eight and under and it’s L’il Appetite Menu is tailored to smaller stomachs, though it’s not exclusively for children. You can order smaller-portions of Phil’s classics like waffles and eggs or a L’il burger and fries.

Saigon Pearl

Saigon Pearl Vietnamese Restaurant in Harvest Hills has vermicelli bowls and noodle soups for kids and adults. The kid’s menu includes a chicken and rice noodle soup, a veggie and rice noodle soup and a vermicelli bowl with chicken, pork or beef and a spring roll. For a sweet treat, order a bubble tea.
