Condos for Inner-City Second-Home Seekers

Three developments to consider for those looking for a second home away from the suburbs.

Whether you’d like to be closer to work, or simply want an urban getaway, in addition to everything else, you want to make sure to narrow down the perfect location for your needs. After all, buyers looking for an inner-city pied–terre are typically driven by location, location, location even more so than other buyers.

Great developments for second-home buyers

6th and Tenth

Located right where its name describes, this development is in the early stages and promises to be an exciting, modern tower with lots of amenities. Units start at $251,900.

The Concord

Located near the Peace Bridge, not much information has been released about this building yet, but Somer says, “Given Concord Pacific’s track record in Vancouver for building stunning buildings, this one will be one to watch for.”

Waterfront/Outlook at Waterfront

This development promises to be in the heart of the new Eau Claire and will feature a low-density terrace building and a tower. “The area will provide amazing access to the parks and cultural life of Calgary’s core,” says Somer. Condos in Outlook start in the $538,000s.
