With the weather warming up, many people have been looking forward to barbecue season. If you’re one of those people, we have good news: there are several local restaurants and businesses that are offering at-home barbecue kits, making it easy to grill delicious meats in your backyard.
Cravings Market Restaurant offers three barbecue kits focused around free range chicken breast, baby back ribs or striploin steak. In addition to the meat, the kits come with mixed greens, garlic bread, grilled vegetables and more. Plus, you can add sides like baked jalapeno poppers and barbecue shrimp skewers. They are available for pick-up or delivery and range in price from $21 to $25 (sides are extra).
Barbecue meat boxes are available for delivery from Empire Provisions on Fridays and Saturdays. Inside, you’ll find a marinated flank steak, a half chicken, a full rack of cooked pork ribs with sweet and sticky barbecue sauce, a package of four beef hotdogs, a package of four Esposito burgers and a package of four beef burgers. Each box costs $135 and can be ordered online.
You can pre-order three different kinds of barbecue meal kits from Meatery Bistro over the phone. Choose from a Wagyu burger kit or Berkshire pork chop kit for $20 or try the sous vide Wagyu roast beef kit for $65. You’ll also get vegetables and salad or potato.
