If you love a good dining deal (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t), then this is the event for you. Feast on Fourth highlights $10 dishes from select restaurants located along 4th Street S.W. Snack on a savoury pie flight from Elephant & Castle, popcorn halloumi from Park by Sidewalk Citizen, sticky soy Alberta AAA steak and mushroom bites from Vin Room and more. Some dishes are only available for dine-in service, some are only available for takeaway and some are available for both.
Calgary International Beerfest
When: May 2 and 3
This annual event is a great way to check out a variety of breweries, distilleries and other beverage vendors. Buy tokens to sample new and notable offerings throughout the festival. Expect more than 150 beverage vendors and 40 food vendors.

Terroir
When: May 3 and 4
Terroir is a food symposium where you can attend special dining events, hear from notable figures from the Canadian food scene, attend tasting workshops and more. This year’s event revolves around themes of innovation, evolution and regeneration. The speaker roster includes award-winning chefs, food writers, industry educators and more.

Wordfest Presents Eden Grinshpan
When: May 22
You may recognize Eden Grinshpan as the host of Top Chef Canada, and on May 22, you can see her in-person when Wordfest hosts her at Memorial Park Library. The event celebrates the release of Grinshpan’s new Middle Eastern- and Mediterranean-inspired cookbook, Tahini Baby: Bright, Everyday Recipes That Happen to Be Vegetarian. Grinshpan will also be doing book signings at the event.

The food-themed exhibit captures the wonder of food through several installations and experiences that guests can try with their Telus Spark membership and/or general admission.
