Spring is normally the time we start seeing more and more food trucks popping up around Calgary. While the pandemic has hindered that this year, YYCFoodTrucks has come up with a creative solution: food truck drive-thrus.
After a successful launch in mid-April, YYCFoodTrucks continues to organize food truck drive-thrus with social distancing measures in the parking lots of Calgary malls. The events feature car line ups for each food truck and people will be able to order food and drinks from their cars.
Previous events have featured local food trucks like Calgary Mini Donuts, Family Dogs, Il Forno Vagabondo, Family Cheesed, Canadian Bear Balls, Family Squeezed Lemonade, Lil’ Truck on the Prairie, Kicking Donkey and Taiko Taco.
