Restaurants Offering Dine-In or Takeout Thanksgiving Dinner

Carriage House Inn

Dine-in or Takeout

Thanksgiving at Carriage House Inn comes with brunch and dinner options. The brunch buffet is Sunday, October 13 with 10:15 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. seating times. It’s all you can eat bread, pastries, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, roast turkey, beef, salmon and shrimp. Brunch is $35 for adults and $18 for kids ages four to 10 years old.

Dinner is Sunday, October 13 and Monday, October 14 with seating times at 4:15, 4:30, 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. The served meal is three courses with butternut squash soup or salad, three meat options including roasted turkey with cranberry sauce and gravy for dinner, and white chocolate pumpkin mousse cake for dessert. A separate kids menu includes soup or salad, and a choice of turkey sandwich, fish and chips or a burger. The meal is $42 for adults or $20 for kids ages four to 10 years old.

Carriage House also has a takeout dinner option. All the meals come with mashed potatoes, honey glazed carrots, vegetables, fresh buns and apple or blueberry pie. You can choose turkey ($185 or $285), ham ($185) or prime rib ($265 or $435). Each protein comes with its own sauce.

Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown


Delta Hotel is offering a takeout Thanksgiving dinner this year, and it includes roasted turkey, blended greens with crumbled goat cheese and cranberries, mashed potatoes, sage stuffing, roasted root vegetables and a choice of one dessert. One 10- to 12-pound turkey is $375 and feeds up to eight people, while two of these birds are $600 and feed up to 16. The last day to order is October 2, and pick-up is between 12 and 5 p.m. on Oct. 14.

Hawthorn Dining Room and Bar


Located in the Fairmont Palliser, this restaurant is offering a traditional turkey dinner to take home that comes in two different sizes — an 11- to 13-pound bird for $325 and a 22- to 26-pound bird for $575. Both options include a garden salad, honey roasted vegetables, whipped potatoes, traditional sage stuffing and the choice of either a pumpkin spice or apple pie. Orders need to be in by Oct. 9 and pick-up is on Oct. 13 and 14 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Heritage Park


The Wainwright Hotel at Heritage Park is serving a Thanksgiving lunch that includes butternut squash soup, roasted turkey and pumpkin pie from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on October 12, 13 and 14. Adults dine for $25, while kids eat for $15. The Selkirk Grille offers dinner on Sunday, October 13 that has an endive salad, maple roasted turkey with whipped mashed potatoes and pumpkin cheesecake on the menu for $42 a person.

Hotel Blackfoot

Dine-in or Takeout

Hotel Blackfoot has two options for Thanksgiving. You can enjoy its Thanksgiving-themed brunch buffet ($13 to $36) on October 13 or dinner buffet ($12 to $40) on October 13 and 14. The meals include options like an omelette station, a shellfish display, cheese boards, prime rib and roast pork tenderloin.

Hotel Blackfoot’s Carve-a-Deal Family Dinner to Go is available from Thursday, October 10 until Monday, October 14. You can get the small meal for eight to 10 people ($275) or the large meal for 16 to 20 people ($425). Both come with roast turkey, rolls, caesar salad, carrots, squash, Brussels sprouts, whipped potatoes, traditional stuffing with cranberries and apple, herbed pan gravy, orange cranberry sauce, pumpkin flan and chocolate macaroons. There’s also a menu of a la carte add-ons.

For $55 per person, you can get a custom prepared turkey dinner to suit any sized gathering, whether it’s two or 16 people. Oxbow’s take-home turkey dinner includes carved turkey breast, a confit turkey leg, freshly baked soft dinner rolls, roasted squash salad, mushroom stuffing, seasonal vegetables and individual bourbon pumpkin pies. The deadline to order is Oct. 10 and pick-up needs to be scheduled on Oct. 11 to 14 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Sunterra Market


Sunterra’s Thanksgiving meal can be picked up or delivered from October 11 to October 14, and the heat-and-eat dinner comes with your choice of turkey or ham with all the trimmings. Start with pumpkin and butternut squash bisque, dig into a seven grain salad with cranberries and walnuts and finish with stone fruit cobbler for dessert. Both options are $25.99 per person.

The Westin


The Westin’s takeout turkey dinner is $375 for a 15-pound bird or $575 for a 22-pound bird. Both come with whipped potatoes, roasted carrots, braised red cabbage and sage stuffing, as well as pumpkin cake and Okanagan apple pie. There is also an a la carte menu if you want to add to your meal. Pick-ups are October 12 to 14.
