Luca Mercato is a new, modern Italian market with everyday essential items, plus some of the best imported Italian goods. Part of Vintage Group, the market joins four other Italian dining concepts at the base of the Oliver Residences in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood. All five eateries are housed in beautiful, modern spaces designed by Paul Lavoie.

Inside Luca Mercato, customers can find fresh produce, baked goods, breads, pre-made meals and more. The market imports high-quality Italian products and ingredients, but also stocks locally made products, like fresh pasta and sauces from Pasta La Mano, and gelato from Noto Gelato.

There’s even a deli counter full of premium Italian meats and cheeses, as well as freshly made sandwiches for a quick lunch on the go. While you’re there, grab a bottle from the small selection of wines (most of which can also be found on the other restaurants’ wine lists, so you know they must be good).
