Calgary’s dining scene grew at an impressive pace this year, with more and more spots opening every month. Here’s a look at some of the new restaurants and cafés that opened in northeast Calgary over the course of 2022.
Abbey’s Creations

This year saw the arrival of three new locations of Abbey’s Creations, which are located in Pacific Place Mall, Inglewood and just off Barlow Trail. Halo halo, creamy avocado and raspberry cheesecake are just some of the delicious ice cream flavours you can get at these spots. The company now has seven locations in Calgary and the surrounding area.

Bakeography Cafe

This new bakery opened in northeast Calgary on October 16. Led by chef Astha Malhotra, the shop features a wide range of Indian-inspired French pastries that range from gulab jamun cake, to citrus shortbread cookies, to sweet and savoury croissants. You can enjoy it all with a fresh cup of coffee or tea.
