The only thing better than starting your week off with a batch of fresh cookies would be if those cookies were hand-delivered to your front door. Now, thanks to Calgary’s new cookie delivery service, BFF Cookies, that Monday morning dream can become your reality.
BFF Cookies began operating in Calgary in mid-April, motoring batches of baked cookies throughout the city to satisfy sweet-toothed Calgarians. The team accepts cookie pre-orders every week from Monday to Thursday, bakes the cookies over the weekend and then sends them out the following Monday in batches of four, six, eight or ten cookies. It’s been selling out weekly since it launched, so Calgary cookie aficionados are clearly onboard with the early week pick-me-up.
BFF Cookies offers eight kinds of cookies, including an upgrade on the classic chocolate chip cookie (The Chosen One), a sweet breakfast replacement cookie coated in cereal and stuffed with marshmallow and strawberry jelly (The Phoebe) and a cookie covered and filled with other cookies (The Coocookiekie). The carefully crafted lineup was perfected over several years, with expansion to the selection — including hints of gluten-free and vegan options — currently in the works.
If you miss the deadline to pre-order for the week, just keep an eye on the BFF Cookies website where a countdown clock lets you know when orders will re-open to the second.
