If you’re the type of person who can never get enough ice cream, Foothills Creamery has an opportunity for you.

The Calgary-based company is throwing an ice cream eating contest on July 17 to mark National Ice Cream Day. The title of ice cream eating champion (as well as a prize of free ice cream for a year) will be given to the competitor who eats the most ice cream in five minutes. While the event runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the contest itself takes place at 1 p.m. at Foothills Creamery’s manufacturing facility.

Think you have what it takes to win? To apply to be a competitor, simply email marketing@foothillscreamery.com and briefly describe why you think you could win this tasty challenge.

Spectators are also welcome to come cheer on the competitors while snacking on free Foothills Creamery ice cream and trying the company’s newest flavours like Groovy Ube and Cotton Candy. Register online to secure your viewing spot.
