If there was ever a time to go out for some pasta, it’s this month during Pasta La Feasta.

Running from October 1 to 31 (which also happens to be National Pasta Month), this Calgary food festival features special pasta creations from 17 local restaurants around the city. When you order one of the featured dishes in October, $3 will go towards supporting The Alex Community Food Centre.

There are a wide range of pasta dishes to choose from this year, which draw on the personal memories of Calgary chefs. The featured pasta dishes range from Deane House‘s pork ragu with house-made ricotta to Model Milk‘s spaghetti a la fideua, which features fresh seafood and a lobster sauce. The full list of participating restaurants and their featured pasta dishes is available online.
