If there was ever a time to go out for some pasta, it’s this month during Pasta La Feasta.

Running from October 1 to 31 (which also happens to be National Pasta Month), this Calgary food festival features special pasta creations from 10 local restaurants around the city. When you order one of the featured dishes in October, $3 will go towards supporting The Alex Community Food Centre.

The featured pasta dishes range from A1 Cafe‘s Oops I Inked it Again dish with squid ink fettuccine, cherry tomatoes and Humboldt squid, to Donna Mac‘s Shifting into “Soup” Mode dish with hand-rolled potato and cheese ravioli, onion, leek and apple butter soubise, fried leeks and crispy prosciutto. The full list of participating restaurants and their featured pasta dishes is available online.
