The team behind YYC Hot Chocolate Fest has launched a new food festival focused around a popular summer treat: ice cream.

YYC Summer Scoop Fest, which runs from June 25 to July 3, invites anyone with a sweet tooth to try featured ice creams at six participating eateries. One dollar from every scoop and $2 from every pint of the featured flavour sold will support Calgary Meals on Wheels. Guests can keep track of their progress (and enter to win prizes) with the help of a summer passport, which any participating vendor can provide.
