Bleachers are being set up in Calgary’s downtown streets. The smell of freshly made pancakes fills the air. It’s summer in Calgary, and “the greatest outdoor show on earth” is back for 2025.
The 2025 Calgary Stampede runs from July 4 to 13, and whether you’re a tried and true cowboy, a ride-loving thrill seeker or simply love to be where the action is, there’s something for everyone who wants to bust out their cowboy boots and experience the most vibrant and bustling 10 days the city has to offer.
And those cowboy boots better work overtime as dancing shoes, because in true Stampede fashion, 2025 boasts an incredible lineup of music performances that go beyond just country (but don’t worry — there’s plenty of that as well). With four stages spanning multiple genres, it can be hard to keep track of everything, which is why we have your guide to the 2025 Calgary Stampede music lineup.
Can I get a yee-haw?
Nashville North, a.k.a. “the original Stampede Party Tent,” got a makeover. With expanded capacity, there are new ways to party, and this year’s lineup promises nothing but good times. Headliners include Americana-country icon Tenille Townes on July 3, farm boy-turned-neo-traditional country sensation Jade Eagleson on July 4, Cole Swindell on July 8 and sibling duo The Reklaws on July 10.
Local acts Devin Cooper, Mariya Stokes, Garrett Gregory, Foxx Worthee, Alex Hughes and Drew Gregory are all taking the stage for multiple dates as well, giving you plenty of options to fit the stand-out shows into your busy schedule. All Nashville North shows are free with the cost of admission.
More than just country
Country not your thing? Not a problem. The Coca-Cola Stage is known for having lineups with rock, alternative, R&B and more. Can’t miss headliners include Arkells on July 6, who are known for their high-energy live performances, Khalid of “Young Dumb & Broke” fame on July 9, Bleachers (yes, Jack Antonoff’s band) on July 10 and pop-punk legends Simple Plan on July 13.
Music fans also won’t want to miss the chance to hear Thomas Wesley (a.k.a. Diplo) on July 7, vibe to Tinashe’s compelling blend of R&B and pop on July 8 and jam to multi-platinum DJ Alesso on July 12. All shows are free with admission.
Good times meet great music
The Big Four Roadhouse has a little bit of everything all under one roof. On July 6, all ages can check out the ticketed concert featuring musical storyteller Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, indie-folk outfit The Paper Kites and more.
The rest of the shows are free with Stampede admission and are 18+ after 6 p.m. These include big names like pop legend Natasha Bedingfield on July 4, generation-defining TLC on July 7, powerhouse hitmaker Lil Jon on July 9 and Soundcloud stalwart-turned-worldwide sensation Yung Gravy on July 11.
“Let’s go, girls”
What could be more iconic than (hopefully) hearing Shania Twain sing those words? The five-time Grammy winner is performing at the Saddledome on July 5, and Calgary’s own Devon Cole in opening.
This ticketed show is sure to feature all the hits, so make sure you’ve got comfortable footwear on because it’ll be impossible not to dance. You can also see Twain when she takes on the esteemed role of Calgary Stampede Parade Marshal on July 4.
