The Wait of Light
When: On now until March 29
Loch Gallery presents The Wait of Light, a solo exhibition by Marcia Harris depicting Calgary landmarks. Showing notable buildings from areas like 17th Avenue S.W. and the Beltline, the paintings capture a sense of nostalgia with their hazy and dreamlike appearance. Harris’ work has been seen in the Calgary Stampede Art Collection, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the BMO Centre and the Glenbow museum. The exhibition is free to visit Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
