The latest opening from Concorde Entertainment Group is Major Tom Bar, a luxurious lounge located on the top floor of Stephen Avenue Place. Major Tom’s main focus is on top-tier cuts of beef prepared steakhouse-style.
On its opening menu, beef options include Benchmark Angus, Alberta Prime and decadent Wagyu. Diners pick their preferred cut and then the steak is coated in butter and grilled at 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. The menu of sides and sauces include things like hot-smoked bacon and the cheekily named “M1 classic steak sauce.” Beyond beef, there’s a robust menu including mains like chicken, duck and halibut. Also on the menu are bite-sized hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, vegetables, pasta, seafood and desserts.
Like fellow Concorde restaurants Bridgette Bar and Lulu Bar before it, Major Tom’s interior was crafted by Frank Architecture & Interiors. And as good as Major Tom’s city views are from 40 floors up, the deep browns and blacks of the wood and leather contrasting with washed out green and pink are equally worth a look.
