Do you love food? Is dining out more than just a good meal to you, it’s a whole experience? If so, then YYC Food & Drink Experience (YYC EXP) is for you. From March 17 to 26, this culinary festival is celebrating all that Calgary’s dining scene has to offer with a mixture of prix-fixe menus and special culinary events.

YYC EXP consists of two types of experiences: One aspect of the festival features multi-course, prix-fixe menus that 70 Calgary restaurants will be offering over the 10 days of the festival. The menus come in a range of prices and highlight different types of cuisines. Stop by any of the participating restaurants during the festival for a special lunch ($25 or $35), three-course dinner ($35 or $45) or gourmet dining experience ($65 or $75). These menus are a great way to experience something different at an old favourite, or try out a new spot you’ve had your eye on.

The second part of YYC EXP is the signature culinary events, featuring celebrity chefs and restaurant collaborations that will offer exciting dining experiences. This year’s events range from a collaboration between River Café and Vancouver’s Michelin-starred St. Lawrence, to a brunch experience at Fortuna’s Row that will feature Top Chef Canada winner Tre Sanderson.
